AUTHOR GUIDELINES

Author guidelines are provided here for submission of their manuscript to the Global Research Journal of Social Sciences and Management (GRJSSM), published by Ci-STEM Global Services Foundation (CGSF).

Co-author Notification:

During the manuscript submission process, the submitting author (usually the corresponding author) is required to provide detailed contact information for all co-authors, including their full names, email addresses, institutional affiliations, and official mailing addresses. The corresponding author, responsible for submitting the manuscript, assumes the obligation of notifying all co-authors about the submission. Removal or addition of an author following manuscript submission necessitates a formal letter of confirmation from the author to be removed or added, accompanied by a request from the corresponding author, addressed to the Chief Editor.

Suggesting Reviewers

When suggesting potential reviewers for a submitted manuscript, authors should not refer reviewers who have a personal or professional connection to the authors or co-authors.

Checklist for submission:

Submission Checklist

Corresponding Author should check the following list before sending it to the journal for review.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  2. Three to five key words (not presented in the title) are listed below the abstract.
  3. English Title, abstract and keywords are provided.
  4. Figure captions and number of figures.
  5. Figures should have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
  6. Table captions and number of tables.
  7. References are in the correct format for this journal.
  8. Manuscript has been ‘spell-checked’ and ‘grammar-checked’.
  9. Manuscript should be in a single file along with tables, figures and graphs.
  10. Species names should be in italics.
  11. Clinical trial registration number, if applicable.
  12. The article prepared for submission must conform to the standard and format set by the template of the article given by the journal. If not adhered to the format the reviewing and publication get delayed due to lengthy correspondences between the author and Editorial Board.
  13. If the author gives a reference to unpublished work, the related documents can be sent as supporting information. Such documents can be used only for review.
  14. Submit sufficient experimental or theoretical data for reproducibility of results.
  15. Cover letter: It should include a brief explanation of the manuscript, its significance, contribution to the new knowledge, and new insights interested to the journal readers. The author may provide recommended reviewers with the following details:
    • Name of the reviewer
    • Designation
    • Name of the working institution
    • Email ID (Institute mail ID is preferred)
    • Short description of their relevant expertise.

  17. The corresponding author must ensure that all the co-authors are aware of the submission.

Editorial Process:

Research papers on Social Sciences, Management and their allied disciplines are considered for publication. All material submitted must be original and unpublished works.

Plagiarism

"Turnitin" or "DrillBit" software tools are used to check the authenticity of the article. The acceptable similarity index range: <15%:PASS., >15% and <25%:Revise and resubmit, >25%: REJECT.

Research Paper

Please provide full author information, a set of keywords and an abstract in the title page. Supplementary materials can be published if necessary. Authors are encouraged to be concise although currently there is no length limit on research paper.

Short Research Communication

Presents a concise study, or sometimes preliminary but innovative research findings that might be less substantial than a full research paper. Short Research Communication is limited to 2500 words. It should have a set of keywords and an abstract summarizing background of the work, the results and their implications. Results and Discussion Section should be combined and followed by Conclusion. Materials and Methods will remain as a separate section. The number of references is limited to 30 and the number of figures and/or tables combined is limited to 4.

Review or Mini-Review

Should be authoritative and of high interest. A minimum of two figures/illustrations should be included in the review or mini-review that should be some 3000 or 5000 words long (excluding references and figure legends). High quality reviews from leading researchers in their fields are particularly welcome.

Manuscripts submitted for publication must be prepared according to the guidelines given below.

Language

The language of the manuscript must be in English (either American or British standard, but not the mixture of both).

Title

The title of the paper should be in Times New Roman, Bold, 14 pt, center aligned. Concise and should be written in the form of lower-case with capitalization of the first word. Provide full names of all authors and their affiliations. Affiliations should include the authors’ departments, institution and its full correspondence address. The corresponding author should be marked with the superscript*. Only the e-mail address of the corresponding author is allowed. Title should be brief and informative reflecting the purpose and content of the study (species should be identified by their scientific name).

Abstract

Provide an abstract of 150-250 words. The Abstract should outline the essential content of the manuscript, especially the purpose of the research, the main results and major conclusions

Keywords

Provide five to six keywords, separated by commas, indicating the principal topics of the paper.

Research methodology

Expression of research type, population and statistical sample, measurement tools, methods of data collection and statistical analysis.

Results

Should be Clear and concise. Presentation of results with tables and figures may improve its clarity.

Discussion

It should contain a critical review of the results in the light of relevant literature. Results and Discussion can be separated or combined.

Conclusion

Summary of results interpretation with suggested recommendations. The conclusion should not merely repeat points made in the preceding sections.

Acknowledgments

Appreciation and thanks to individuals and legal entities and research sponsors (if needed).

Footnotes

Footnotes should be used sparingly. Number them consecutively throughout the article, using superscript Arabic numbers. Many word processors build footnotes into the text, and this feature may be used. Should this not be the case, indicate the position of footnotes in the text and present the footnotes themselves separately at the end of the article. Do not include footnotes in the Reference list.

Tables and Figures

Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively in accordance with their appearance in the text. Table title should be placed on the top of the table and figure legend should be on the bottom. Tables and Figures should be numbered consecutively using Arabic numbers (For example, Table 1, Table 2, Tables and Figure 1, Figure 2, and Figure 3).

Nomenclature and Units

Follow internationally accepted rules and conventions: use the international system of units (SI). If other quantities are mentioned, give their equivalent in SI. You are urged to consult the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC). For further information, please .

Abbreviations and Units
  • Generally, units must be abbreviated according to the International System of Units (SI units).
  • Below you find the examples of abbreviations of the most commonly used SI units:
  • Units for Length (m, cm, m, mm, nm, Å)
  • Units for Mass (kg, g, mg, mg, ng, pg, mol, mmol)
  • Units for Volume (l, ml, ml), time (s, min, h, d)
  • Units for Temperature (°C, K)
  • Units for Radiation (Bq, Ci, dpm, Gy, rad) and
  • Units for Concentration (M, mM, mol/l, mmol/l, mg/ml, mg/ml, %, % (v/v), % (w/v), ppm, ppb.
  • References

    Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). References should be arranged in A-Z format (alphabetically) at the end of conclusion section.

    Reference style in text

    For single Author: Author name (without initials, unless there is ambiguity) and the year of publication (Ludiya, 2012).

    For two Authors: Both author (s) names and the year of publication (Siva and Rubiya, 2021).

    For three or more Authors: First author name followed by ‘et al.,’ and the year of publication (Daniel et al., 2012). Citations may be made directly (or parenthetically).

    For Group of References

    Groups of references should be listed chronologically according to the year of publication (For Example: There are several published works about the basic concepts of coordinate geometry were taught in primary and secondary schools; college students are experiencing difficulties in meta-cognitive conceptualization leading gaps in accurately capturing procedures for solving the related problems (Ju et al., 2022; Barana et al., 2021; Kumar et al., 2022) .

    More than one reference from the same author(s) in the same year must be identified by the letters ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’, etc., placed after the year of publication (Ludiya, 2007a; 2007b, 2007c, 2007d).

    Proofs and Reprints

    Electronic proofs will be sent as an e-mail attachment to the corresponding author as a PDF file. Page proofs are considered to be the final version of the manuscript. With the exception of typographical or minor clerical errors, no changes will be made in the manuscript at the proof stage. Authors will have free electronic access to the full text (HTML and PDF) of the article. Authors can freely download the PDF file from which they can print unlimited copies of their articles.

    Average Number of Weeks between Article Submission and Publication

    GRJSSM is an open access, Half Yearly (2 Issues per year) international journal. This journal will take an average time between article submission and publication is: 3-6 weeks.
